Andy Hook specialises in environmental portraiture within the fields of advertising and editorial photography. His style is quite cinematic, constructing scenes. Hook has done previous work in television set design, as well as a degree in product design. Hook’s work is a lot more location based than other photographers I have been looking into. I really like how he constructs his scenes, as I said before, a cinematic quality. Hook has a simple but effective website design, on his home page/opening page it is a large photograph covering most of the screen. From there you can either scroll through those images or go to the galleries and look more specifically. He has a simple logo, which is his last name, which he also uses for his Instagram picture. On his Instagram he posts a mixture of personal and professional work, sort of showing behind the scenes at the same time, so he has taken a more relaxed to Instagram compared to Karina, perhaps as he is more established?
